
New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church
New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church was organized on Sunday, June 26, 1959 in a one room house on Canada Drive, under the leadership of the late Rev. Delmar Mayes, who was Pastor and founder. The New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church was given by the founder Rev. Delmar Mayes during that service New St. Pauls Mother Church was in attendance Lead by its leader and Pastor Rev. G. T. Britt.
In addition to Rev. Mayes and family at the time of organization, there were seven individual that became members.

After the organization, Rev Delmar Mayes was authorized to seek a permanent location for the Church. In a short manner of time Rev. Mayes was able to obtain a small run-down church at 1024 Muncie Street. Strong Christian character, faith, vision and a hard working congregation allowed Rev. Mayes to purchase two station wagons and begin the remodeling of the building. On November 4, 1963 at 06:00 A.M., Rev. Mayes and his congregation marched into what would be the home of New St. Paul M. B. A ribbon cutting ceremony was done with Sis Alberta Mayes actually cutting the ribbon. First Baptist Church of Addison Texas was the guest for this service Pastored by the late Rev. J. Johnson
